[00:00:01] Speaker A: Hey, let's talk Gillette. [00:00:07] Speaker B: What's happening in Gillette next week on September 1st is a Gillette City Council meeting. Before we get to the agenda, let's take a look at some other City of Gillette happenings in the next week or two. Monday, September 7th will be the final day of the season for the Splash park at the Energy Capital Sports Complex, so make sure you make your way out there. Also on September 7, city offices will be closed in absorbing observance of Labor Day. If your regular trash day is Monday, it will be picked up on Tuesday. Here's what's on the September 1st city council agenda. There are four items that involve 1% funds. Council will consider acceptance of public improvements for the Irrigation Central Control Improvements project Phase two. Then Council will consider the bid award for Collins Heights subdivision Water Fittings Replacement project. They will also consider a bid award for the Butler Spaith Large Patch project. The last 1% project will consider a contract amendment for the Remington Subdivision Phase 1 Drainage Improvements Project. Council will consider two bid awards for two separate vehicles, one being for a midsize SUV and the other a transit van. Council will consider a request to drill an irrigation water well within the city limits in the Bighorn Estates subdivision. The Council will actually consider another request to drill an irrigation water well within the city limits for the Campbell County Cemetery District in the College Minor subdivision. The following item is tied to the previous item. The Campbell County Cemetery District is requesting that council waive the financial assurance deposit for drilling the water well.
