[email protected] GPA here's what's on the July 7th City Council agenda. There is a special event permit to close the 3rd Street Plaza on August 4th for a national Night out event.
National Night out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Millions of neighbors take part in National Night out across thousands of communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August. Since National Night out is the first Tuesday in August, the City Council meeting that would usually be that night will instead be held on Monday, August 3. Council will have consideration to authorize exclusive use of the NZ practice fields for the USSSA 18 and under Wyoming state softball tournament from July 10 through July 12. There are two considerations that involve 1% funds. Council will consider the acceptance of public improvement for the Alley sewer replacement project located between Ross and richards and between 2nd street and 5th Street.
Council consideration for the acceptance of public improvements for the 2026 asphalt pothole repair project, which is another 1% project.
There will be two separate water service agreements considered by Council. Those are with the Section 4 water system and Hoy Mobile Home Park Council will consider waiving the preliminary plat process and allow the developer to move the final plat application process for the Pronghorn Ranch. Phase 3 Filing 1 A subdivision council consideration of a resolution approving and authorizing the final plat of lots 6e, 6f, 6g and 6h of Prestige Park Council will evaluate a resolution to approve and authorize distributing wood chips from city stockpiles at no cost to help manage excessive inventory. The City Council will appoint or reappoint members to the Citizen Advisory Boards.
Finally, there will be a public hearing and council consideration of an item that was postponed from a previous meeting. It's to amend the district zoning map to rezone an unplatted parcel of land at 1011 East 8th street from CO Office and Institutional District to C1 General Commercial District.
